Fishing Creek Lake, created in 1916 for hydroelectric power and drinking water, offers a beautiful and scenic paddling experience. This paddling experience explores the northern part of the lake. Prominent tree species you will come across include a variety of oak and pine as well as river birch. This is a good fishing lake with a variety of species, including bluegill, largemouth bass, gizzard shad, crappie and catfish.
